sales.goodgov.ai

One pipeline for two companies. Institutional knowledge, working for us instead of sitting in a folder.

Why We Built It

Thirty proposals of institutional knowledge should never live in a folder.

Between Good Governance Consulting and New Take Films, we had written over thirty proposals - lobbying scopes, campaign services, documentary packages, healthcare video work. Every one of them held real pricing, real language, and real judgment about what the client actually needed. And every one of them sat in a Drive folder while we started the next proposal from scratch.

Sales.goodgov.ai is the fix. One unified sales platform for both companies, built on our own droplet, that turns the archive into leverage. Proposals get drafted in Johntel's voice from the first sentence. Procurement opportunities across Maryland, federal, and state get caught before they close. The pipeline is one place, not two spreadsheets and a shared inbox.

What It Does

Four capabilities, one workflow.

AI Proposal Generator

Trained on thirty-plus historical proposals as golden examples. First drafts read like Johntel wrote them because the archive did. Pulls real pricing from the NTF and GGC databases, not made-up numbers.

Opportunity Scraper

Seven procurement sources monitored continuously. New RFPs get surfaced daily and scored against what we actually pursue, so nothing critical gets missed while it is still open.

Do-Not-Pursue Filter

We do not chase IT integration work, staffing contracts, or scopes outside our lanes. The filter learns from our history and keeps the noise out of the digest.

Weekly Digest, Reply to Learn

Monday morning email with the week's opportunities and pipeline movement. Reply with a thumbs up or down on any item and the system updates its model of what we care about.

Where the Opportunities Come From

Seven procurement sources are live and pulling. Federal, state, county, and platform-specific bid boards - all normalized into one queue so we can see everything worth seeing without opening seven different portals.

  • 1. SAM.gov
  • 2. Grants.gov
  • 3. eMaryland Marketplace
  • 4. BidNet
  • 5. OpenGov
  • 6. Bonfire

Built On Real Pricing

Numbers we have actually charged and been paid.

The New Take Films pricing database covers crew rates, equipment lines, package tiers from eighteen hundred dollars to six figures, and the specific deliverables we have quoted for clients like the DC Primary Care Association, the German Embassy, and the Maryland General Assembly. The GGC side covers lobbying retainers, advocacy day packages, campaign scopes, and hourly consulting.

When the AI drafts a proposal, it is composing from that library. It is not guessing what a healthcare documentary should cost. It knows what we charged last time and why.

How It Runs

Vue frontend, FastAPI backend, hosted on our own DigitalOcean droplet at sales.goodgov.ai. Not a SaaS subscription. Not a vendor we depend on. A tool we own, on infrastructure we control, that we can extend the moment we need something new.

This is what we mean when we say we are building tools by people who have done the work. The sales platform is the internal proof: the same discipline we bring to client work, turned inward on our own pipeline.
